Preschool

Eli started preschool this past week. We'll see how it goes. He had a blast the first day but Knox and I missed him a lot. We are still trying to determine if it is more trouble than it's worth, considering I literally have to spoon feed both my babies their breakfast every morning. Wow-they exhaust me sometimes. It doesn't pay for me to be rushed or have deadlines...Eli has an advantage though because his Gramma Simmons is the preschool director. I'm not sure where they'll send him when he's in trouble...

Sweet as Ever

This little boy has his first tooth! He got it just before turning 5 months old. He can now roll all through our house and will follow our voices. He is working so hard on crawling too. He is such a sweetheart. He grins all the time and is a very happy baby. He and Eli have some similarities, but their personalities are very different. Knox loves to be held, rocked to sleep, but Eli has always been very independent. It is so much fun watching them grow and change each day.

Ruffin Militia

Eli thought he was going dove hunting on Saturday with Papa, Uncle Ryan, and Daddy. He was not too happy when he realized we were only staging him for pictures in his camouflage. If his Papa and his Daddy have their way, he will have many hunting days ahead. Hunting is a new found hobby for J...Eli already has a lifetime hunting license, courtesy of Papa Strader. I have to say that the 20 foot ride in the front seat of Papa's truck was the biggest thrill of his day!

Fun with Buds

Last week we headed to the Science Center with our friends Lilly and Mac. These two are only 12 months apart, even closer than our two! Their brave Mommy and Daddy are on their way to baby #3! J says he's not ready to follow suit...

Loved the mail man's car at the Children's Museum!

Such a sweet group of little boys!

Thunder Thighs

Knox is serious about some oatmeal. We started feeding him cereal and now he thinks he should eat everytime we eat. This child has some major thunder thighs too. He is so big! It has done us no favors having our boys a year apart as far as clothing goes. This boy can't wear any of Eli's clothes from last summer....
